Merry Christmas Movie Review: Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi

Merry Christmas Movie Review: Sriram Raghavan is known for making interesting thrillers like Johnny Gaddaar, Ek Hasina Thi, Badlapur and Andhadhun. After Andhadhun, we were all waiting to know what his next release would be. But now, after almost six years, he is making his directorial comeback with Merry Christmas. When the film was announced with Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in the roles, everyone was quite excited about it. Merry Christmas Movie Review, So, does this film live up to the excitement it created among the audience before its release? Well, partly yes.

Merry Christmas Movie Review revolves around Maria Katrina Kaif and Albert Vijay Sethupathi. They meet on Christmas Day in a restaurant and the situation leads them to Marie’s house. They have a few drinks, dance and enjoy each other’s company. But there is a murder in which Maria and Albert get involved. who is the killer Well, to know you have to see the movie.

Merry Christmas Movie Review, Sriram Raghavan is known for presenting his films in a very different way. Not only the characters, but the era, the place, everything plays a very important role in the narrative and what he did here with Merry Christmas. takes us back to when Bombay was Bombay. pco, single projection theater with fans, fiat taxis and of course the time when there were no mobile phones. Filmmakers get full points for all of these things.

But the slow pace in the first half is a problem. The plot line takes time to set up and these scenes aren’t very engaging to keep us hooked. However, he saved his best for the second half.

Things get interesting after the interval and we are curious to see what happens next. Also, when a big tension is revealed, it’s shocking because no one will be able to guess it. The climax of the film is also interesting, but it reminds you a little of Kareena Kapoor khan sarrer jaane jaan.

The supporting cast is also very good. Sanjay kapoor is amazing in the movie and it is a pleasure to watch him on screen. His comic timing is just perfect. Vinay Pathak and Pratima Kannan are hilarious and Ashmini Kalseker leaves a mark in her cameo. Radhika apte is lovely in her cameo.

Merry Christmas Movie Review, All in all, Merry Christmas may not be interesting and funny like Andhadhun but it is not a bad movie. It has a touch of Sriram Rajhavan in it and of course, watch Katrina and Vijay give amazing performances.
