It is an official remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Porinju Mariam Jose starring Joju George, Nyla Usha, Chemban Vinod Jose and Vijayaraghavan. Loosely based on the true events of the 1980s and 1990s in Thrissur, the film encapsulates a narrative reflective of those times.

Naa Saami Ranga Cast and Crew
The film stars Nagarjun as Ranga, Allari Naresh as Anji, Raj Tarun as Bhaskar, along with Jisshu Sengupta, Ashika Ranganath portraying Vaaralakshmi, Rukshar Dhillon, Mirnaa Menon and Ravi Varma as Lakshmipathi.
Directed by Vijay Binni and based on the story of Joshiya, the film boasts of a screenplay penned by Prasanna kumar Bezawada and vijay Binni. Produced by Srinivasa chitturi under the banner of Srinivasa silver screen studio and annapurna studio, dasaradhi sivendra showcases cinematography, chota k. prasad editing and music composed by M. M. Keeravani.
