Home production, Bastar Movie directed by Sudipto Sen has been awarded an A certificate. The film, which delves into real life events will submit factual content to the Board.
The 124 minutes film contains instances of abuse with certain derogatory words muted. Additionally, there is an abservation to increase the font size of the end credits. Interestingly, Sen’s previous film also received an A certificate but performed exceptionally well at the box office.
Producer Vipul Shah organished a special screening for all India distributors, receiving positive feedback. The makers have been requested to include a voice-over in the disclaimer regarding discretion and ideology. While the Kerala story had 10 cuts, Bastar Movie has 13 minutes of cuts.

In the trailer, Adah portrays IPS Officer Neerja Madhvan, who is committed to making India free from Naxalism. The trailer depicts scenes of Naxalites attacking CRPF jawans, children being burnt, political figures being assassinated and innocent people being hanged.
Vipul Shah and Sudipto’s first collaboration, The Kerala Story, proved to be one of the most successful films at the box office in 2023 thus far. The film portrays the alleged brainwashing of numerous young women, leading them to join the Islamic State and travel to countries like Syria and Afghanistan.
